I don't remember where I found these images... but they are very cool

Ah HA! that's where I got them! Skylar's facebook page! thanks man! This photo of the Chi Town Hustler was taken by Denis Scott by the Buckinham fountain in Chicago in the '70's.
It ran in the Chicago Sun Times magazine section, Pat Minnick was the driver

I saw the two cars with the same gauges, and wonder why someone went to the trouble of outlining thier gauges in this odd fashion (top set)

There is a consistant wavy pattern to the way these numbers are outlined, and I didn't realize it wasn't factory until I came across the 2nd Merc and took photos of it's gauges for contrast

These (below) are a little harder to see, as the windows to this car weren't open enough for me to get better photos

Why bring dogs? I don't get it. Isn't a crowd of people difficult enough to walk around in without pushing a baby carriage with dogs in it?

The ashtray for the back seat passengers.. yeah, obsolete as the choke lever, I know

I like the contrast of the 60's headlights and fender vs. the 08. Why do they continue to carry on a name when the next generation has no resemblence to the original? The only common factor I can think of is that they both have 4 tires.
