Jade Idol II and Jade Rival at the Grand National Roadster show

design by Foxley, but he got Gene to paint it! Chris has 3 more photos of it here; http://speedseekers.blogspot.com/2010/02/sectioned.html

This is the Jade Idol II which was also at SEMA, for a different view: there are 5 photos of it in this post about 1/2 way down http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/11/entire-outdoors-at-sema-lot-to-look.html

The Barris taxi for the Bob Denver tv show "Good Guys"

But the cool kustom stuff was a grappling hook to slow or stop it, no tires and rims were the same, the taxi meter was a pair of coffee pots linked together top to top to form an hourglass that had metalflakes (that usually are put in hot rod paint)

Ever heard of Norm's Henway? I just found it in the late 70's Hot Rod

I can't find where I pulled the above image from, Brandon Flannery took the photo, and says the image was probably from the HAMB / JalopyJournal

It's not like Gray wrote, (click on the image for a very large readable size) this wasn't a restoration, the Henway is a creation. A play on the old joke, what's a Henway... about 3 pounds.

The rest of these images are from the Jalopy Journal and obviously not the same vehicle

I just noticed that all 3 of these appear to have different rear windows

Cool images from Los Boulevardos ( too lowrider for customs, too custom for lowriders )

I found another photo of the above custom... it's a radical look for something new, I haven't seen many far out customs since the late 60's early 70's craze

These are the most beautiful scallops I can recall seeing, and I've never seen any running down the trunk!
